Pat McCann REALTOR®
I have been a resident of Cary, North Carolina since 1978, when my husband Frank was transferred with IBM from Kingston, New York. Cary was a small town, we were able to look at homes in Raleigh in the morning, and Cary in the afternoon. That was my introduction to Real Estate, interest rates were around 15%. We were able to purchase a home because IBM had blocks of money in various banks in order that transferees could purchase homes. We settled in to our new life, then in 1981 and opportunity for my husband came up with IBM World Trade in LaGaude France. We rented our home in Cary and went on temporary assignment for almost 2 years. It was a scary and wonderful adventure.
Upon returning to Cary, I knew it was time for me to start a career. I had been trained as Medical Technologist at Truesdale Hospital in Fall River, Ma. Frank and I are both from Massachusetts, and yes, I still have my New England accent.
I decided to acquire my North Carolina Real Estate license, after all, being an IBM family I understood moving. I learned very quickly that being a Realtor is not just looking at pretty homes. Every sale is different and is new relationship. I am helping people with one of the biggest decisions in their lives. My career has spanned several decades but my biggest high comes when, I know that the buyer has found the home of their dreams. Also the seller is able to move onto whatever their future holds for them.
The Triangle area has been a wonderful place to raise our daughter Jodi, and after years of moving from Massachusetts, to Washington, D.C., Groton, Conn., Kingston, New York, Cary, N.C. , LaGaude, France, and back to Cary.
This is our home! Contact me to help you find what your looking for, and we will have a good time along the way…
